Cue’s CEO Ayub Khattak joins Lisa Ling on Season 2 of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 Series: The Road to a Vaccine

San Diego, CA (October 20, 2020) – Cue’s CEO Ayub Khattak spoke with Lisa Ling as part of Johnson & Johnson’s The Road to a Vaccine series. During the segment, Ayub and Lisa discuss the lengthy turnaround time that many Americans have encountered during the pandemic with traditional PCR laboratory tests, and Cue’s ability to supply a highly-sensitive, molecular test that is fast, portable, and easy-to-use in point-of-care settings. Cue's recent public-private partnership with the DOD and HHS will enable the US Government to deploy 6 Million Cue COVID-19 Test to Americans, furthering access to fast, accurate molecular testing. He also notes that the company has partnered with the Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority (BARDA), a division of HHS, since 2018 to develop a point-of-care Influenza test.
