What We’re Looking For

 Cue Health Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer.


  •  Responsible for the mechanical design of the company’s cartridges

  • Develop innovative solutions to meet product requirements for performance, reliability, cost and manufacturability

  • Lead new projects that provide imaginative solutions to difficult engineering and customer design challenges

  • Provide guidance on mechanical and performance requirements for new product development

  • Verify product sub-system performance and reliability by designing and building fixtures, generating test protocols, acquiring laboratory equipment, and writing test reports

  • Develop 3D models, assemblies and drawings using accepted drafting standards

  • Ensure component quality, performance and delivery by managing good supplier relationships

  • Maintain a project schedule and keep projects moving forward in a fast-paced environment

  • Perform all other mechanical engineering duties


  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • Five or more years of post-baccalaureate progressive mechanical engineering, product development engineering or related experience, including creating design in the form of mechanical drawings, specs, and schematics; working on product development, product design, failure analysis and finite elemental analysis; developing product requirements, defining mechanical requirements, designing system and component packaging and layouts; performing component and system testing, writing verification test plans and protocols, and completing test reports; and designing and developing new medical devices utilizing 3D modeling and Solidworks software


  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, plus three (4) years of mechanical engineering, product development engineering or related experience, including experience in the above areas

  • Experience working with injection molding and high volume plastics

  • Familiarity with a variety of polymers
