What We’re Looking For

Cue Health Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Research Associate.  Your primary responsibility will be to execute experiments to test of in vitro diagnostic cartridges during 2nd shift.  You will play a key role supporting cartridge development.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute experiments to test of in vitro diagnostic cartridges, including cartridge preparation and autopsy

  • Prepare of solutions and other material for R&D and manufacturing use

  • POC for team delegation and training

  • Generate QC or manufacturing documentation

  • Execute nucleic acid amplification / biochemical assays

  • Develop new methodologies, assays, and products in a fast-paced development environment

  • Facilitate optimization of assay conditions to achieve commercial levels of stability, robustness, and performance

  • Conduct clear and concise communication with colleagues (cross-functional) and supervisors through oral updates, written reports and technical meetings

Requirements:

  • Adaptable to working 2nd shift hours

  • BS degree in a science or engineering discipline

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience is required in analytical or biochemical based techniques

  • Proficient in documentation for production environments

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Extremely detail oriented with excellent hands-on laboratory and experimental skills

  • Proven level of high technical proficiency, initiative and independent thought

  • Excellent pipetting skills

  • Aptitude to understand mechanical failures in diagnostic cartridges

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in a science or engineering discipline with knowledge of manufacturing processes

  • Experience with nucleic acid amplification is a plus

  • Experience in the medical device industry is a plus
